Nothing is known about Callisto's past such as were she came from or how she obtained her mutant abilities. As far as we know she has been with the Morlocks for a very long time.
Currently Callisto is the leader of the underground sewer dwelling mutants known as the Morlocks. Along with the other members of the Morlocks she takes shelter from society because of their looks. Most of the time when a problem occurs with the Morlocks, Callisto always tries to handle it without any outside help. She doesn't take kindly to outsiders and shields herself from society because she is a mutant.
Callisto's mutant ability allows her to have superior senses such as hearing and seeing. It is unknown whether or not seeing in the dark is another ability or just part of her enhanced senses, but she can do that as well.
