Ororo Munroe serves as a mentor to the young students at the Xavier Institute. She is the Aunt of Evan Daniels, a past student at the Institute who is now with the Morlocks. Storm is the oldest of the four mutant women, and since she is an adult in X-Men: Evolution, she will be having a small yet reasonable part in the series.
Ororo is an American who's parents were killed in a Earthquake in Cairo, Egypt. Because of the Earthquake, Storm was trapped in rubble for two days at the age of 4 and ever since then she's been Claustrophobic. She spent her time as a child thief until her mutant powers manifested. When Professor X discovered her, Ororo was serving as a goddess for an African tribe. Xavier took her back to the United States where she learned to harness her powers. Now she helps guide the young mutants at the Xavier Institute to help control their powers.
Storm is basically a Weather Witch, able to make clouds, fog, rain, wind, lightning, and anything basically dealing with weather. She uses her wind power to help keep her aloft giving her the ability to fly. The only problem with Storm's power is that they are tied to her emotions. So she must keep her emotions in check, because if not...
Storm is very calm and serene. She is very "mother-nature" like in that she cares for the Earth and anything natural. Nothing much upsets Storm because she tries to remain calm in any danger. Recently her past caught up to her when her African tribe (who believed she was a goddess) tried to gain control of her powers but failed. Ororo does not try to upset the natural balance of nature, but when felt threatened, watch out!
When Apocalypse was freed, he made Storm one of his horsemen because of how powerful she was. Her powers were amplified 10X greater than they already where, making her one mean goddess. After Apocalypse was defeated, Storm returned to her normal self.
